Terms of Sale


We print using CMYK colours.  We do not use spot colour or pantone colour, if spot colours or pantone colours are supplied in artwork, we will automatically convert these to CMYK colours.  If you have preferred CMYK colours, please advise us of this at design stage.

Accepting Proofs

When accepting artwork proofs, customers are held fully responsible for accepting all content. This includes design, spelling, grammar and numbers. It is the customer’s responsibility to request another proof if small text is difficult to read. We will print exactly what is accepted in the final proof.


Customers who supply their own artwork are fully responsible for the end result of printing. Customers are reminded to submit print-ready artwork with the correct specifications (CMYK colour, minimum 300dpi, correct dimensions, 3mm bleed, fonts flattened or converted to outlines). For template guidelines or if you are unsure, please contact us, we’re here to help.

Preferred Format: PDF (Adobe Reader), AI (Adobe Illustrator), CDR (Corel Draw), PSD (Photoshop), EPS (Elapse Post Script)

Accepted Formats: JPG, PNG, BMP, TIF  (SignArts & D-Sign Hounds will not be responsible for poor quality work, due to low resolution images supplied)

Lead Times

In most cases, orders are delivered within one to two weeks of approval and once 50% payment is received.  SignArts will not be held responsible for loss or damages due to printing being delivered after this time.  If you have a deadline to meet, and are unsure, please contact us before placing your order.


We ask that a 50% deposit be paid on placement of confirmed order, we dispatch your order with the balance due in on delivery.  This is unless otherwise agree to in writing.
